Organisation & Storage

A function that sometimes gets pushed into the background – quite wrongly. Because an outdoor kitchen should also offer space for kitchenware, accessories and supplies. At openair kitchen, we focus on high-quality solutions such as elegant fronts, doors and drawers with touch controls and intelligent partitioning. Tip: You can find exclusive glasses in our online-Shop.

Wonderfully cool, wonderfully to hand: store your food in a weatherproof outdoor refrigerator made of stainless steel. Stylish and safe: the triple-insulated glass front with UV filter. Another highlight in the modular outdoor kitchen is the barrel fridge with tap system from BULL.

10 valuable tips about your modular outdoor kitchen

A modular outdoor kitchen from openair kitchen is a real investment and increases your enjoyment of life: after all, you want to feel good here in the long term. When choosing the location, you should therefore consider the distance to the house, but also the weather protection. For some of our modules, you also need electricity and water connections; these should be provided on site. Are you unsure about the ideal location? As professionals in outdoor living and garden design, we will be happy to advise you.

An openair kitchen with the appropriate modules covers all the requirements that can be placed on an outdoor kitchen – but perhaps you would like to set priorities, use your outdoor kitchen more privately or mainly for business. An outdoor kitchen from openair kitchen can withstand a lot, but what about your guests or plates of food? You might want to plan a covered dining area so that you don’t have to give up your cosy table in the event of a rain shower! High-quality canopies are available, for example, from Renson, competently installed by our partner Schweitzer Bautechnik. We would also be happy to advise you on this.

As our outdoor kitchens are designed, cut and assembled from high-quality Dekton panels with a great deal of care and expertise, please allow four to six weeks for delivery from openair kitchen – starting from your first call with us.

Materials such as stainless steel or aluminium are of course very suitable: we use 8 mm solid aluminium with powder coating in a wide range of colours. For the side cladding, we use Dekton in a thickness of 12 mm. This man-made stone is extremely robust: UV, stain and heat resistant, abrasion and scratch resistant, also resistant to thermal shocks from heat or cold. Available in beautiful colours and grains!

The focal point of the outdoor kitchen is of course the cooking or grilling area – this can be a modern induction hob, but also a traditional plancha or teppanyaki plate or a wok, a charcoal or a gas grill – the main thing is high quality! Perhaps you would also like to combine several preparation methods: At openair kitchen, you put together all the modules individually. Click here for the selection.

Determine how much space is required for cutting, preparing and serving food in your modular outdoor kitchen. Don’t forget: Your high-quality cooking tools, glasses and crockery need space if you are to store them within easy reach. Behind the attractive fronts of the openair kitchen, we can plan cabinets and drawers  that can be opened by one touch. Find out more here.

In the summer, do you want to have to remember to bring perishable food back indoors quickly after eating? An outdoor refrigerator would save you these trips. Speaking of this: a tap system can also be integrated into the openair kitchen as a separate module. You can find our modules here

For some modules, you need a power supply – e.g. for an induction hob or a refrigerator. If you want to integrate a sink module into your outdoor kitchen, a water supply line must be available on site – we can also install an instantaneous water heater for hot water on request. We connect the sink directly to the waste water system – or plan a concealed collection tank in the body. In this case, no waste system can be integrated under the sink.

Use our configurator: simply select all the modules for your outdoor kitchen and we will create a 3D visualisation. Ideally, you should also upload a photo of your garden or outdoor area so that we can present the open-air kitchen against the right background.
